I know that this is a riveting post/discussion, but I want to know . . . what's your pick in diapers? I'm assuming that a great majority of you readers out there are purchasing diapers routinely or it's not too distant of a memory. I myself, am a "Pamper's snob". I love the Pamper's Swaddlers for several reasons. They are so soft (as soft as a disposable diaper can get), they have a precious faint "baby" scent to them, and they are WHITE (except for the small picture in the front) which is very important for all the pastels and white diaper covers that Carolina wears. You know, a very critical feature. ha! :)
Now, don't get me wrong, I have tried others. There was a $5.00 off coupon to Publix for Huggies diapers, so I thought, sure, I'll try them. I can't wait to be done with the pack. They're not terrible, but they just don't fit Carolina great and they have crazy, loud designs all over them. I tried Target diapers a month or so ago, and while they are MUCH cheaper, they felt like cardboard on my sweet baby's bottom. With Lawton, I tried Luvs, but they had this offensive odor that smelled like pee (to me) before they were even on his tiny hiney. ugh. And then I used Sam's diapers once he was 18 months or so until he was potty trained. I was a fan of the Sam's brand, but haven't yet gone there with Carolina because they just have size 1-2 and then 3's. (She is in a solid 2).
I got a $5.00 off coupon for Publix diapers this week, and so I'm wandering if it's worth it. I'm sure they will do for 5 bucks off. . . But let me know - what's your favorite? Vote on my all important diaper poll to the right or leave a comment and let me know if I should branch out and try something other than my beloved Pampers. Happy diapering!

Love, love, love Pampers! I always find that I get the best diaper deals with my coupons, sales, and CVS-ing.
I loved the Swaddlers, but really did not like the Cruisers. Somewhere in the midst of our outrageous number of diapers, Pampers changed their Swaddlers/Cruisers line and the lining would actually stick to the babies little bottoms (I remember having to peel it off of them). I complained, and switched to the Baby Dry. The Baby Dry are what I remember the "old" Cruisers being at one time.
We tried Huggies (didn't really care for the bright designs either). We absolutely hated the Sam's "Smiles" brand. I would have thrown away the box, but when diapering twins, I learned to find the value in each and every diaper.
Jackson wore Swaddlers and is now in Baby Dry.
Probably more than you wanted to know! :)
I am Pampers mom. I have tried Luvs, Huggies, Kroger and Costco brands. For my boys, Pampers were always the best. The Swaddlers were my faves, now we use either Baby Dry or Cruisers.
I heart pampers too! For a while we would just buy what was on sale... But, I just don't like them as well. We are actually out of swaddlers (merrill is in 3's) but I really wish they would make them into size 5!
I love the Pampers swaddlers too. Claire could move to Cruisers, but I've kept her in the 2-3 swaddlers, and will until they won't fasten anymore (or they're lowriders)! I bought all Huggies per a friend's rec. w/Grant & ended up returning them all & swapping for Swaddlers. We used Cruisers too..they're just not as soft!
Well, I'm your cheap friend. I did use Pampers when Libby was little, but when she turned 9 months I started using Parent's Choice(Wal-mart brand). I have used the target brand, but I wasn't a big fan of those. PC has just a small design on the front and seem to "move" better. They are not as great as pampers, but my pocket book sure likes them, and Libby seems perfectly content with them too.
