Carolina turns 2! (a few months ago . . .)

Well, a few people have fussed at me about not updating the blog. I guess the only few that actually check it. . .
So, for the three of you who have asked - here are a few posts. (Hopefully more will come soon - I really do want to update since this has become my "scrapbook". :)

Carolina turned two in May!! We had a small family party at the house - Minnie Mouse themed. :) We also just ordered pizza since she loves pizza (and Lawton had a game that afternoon!)

Can you see her excitement with her new dress up items? Emily couldn't resist dress up shoes and some "Lella" (Cinderella) items for her. ;)

She is such a GIRL! :)
Luke and Carolina!
Emily made her adorable cake once again. Amazing!

It ended up being a chilly May night!

I scream, you scream!

We all scream for ice cream! Lawton has never liked ice cream, even since he was a baby. Maybe he has sensitive teeth? Who knows. Anyways, we went to take Carolina Baskin Robbins on her birthday since she LOVES ice cream. :)

We came outside with our ice cream (except Lawton because he always says he doesn't like it) and he started feeling a little left out. . .

"I want to try some."
"Sure." (gave him a bite of sister's)
"I want some for me."
"Try another bite to make sure."
"I want some. Really!"
"If we go get you some, you have to eat every single bite!"

And folks, at five years old, the boy eats his first scoop of ice cream. Is he really my child? Not so sure . . . ha!

Fun with Cousins

A few months ago I took the kids and my two nephews to a local ag center. Why or when I can't remember because I've been such a horrible blogger . . .This picture above was after we got back home and they were all coloring their new coloring books we picked up.
We saw the horses and some sweet baby kittens in the horse barn. I kept on asking Houston if he wanted to hold the kittens or pet them and he politely kept telling me no. "Are you sure?" I asked. . . "Aunt Laura Beth, I'm allergic." Ahhh! I ran the kids out of there, forgetting all about his horrible allergies . . . we were in a dusty, hay ridden, cat and horse filled barn. Aunt of the Year, huh? :)

I love these kids. :)
