For Carolina's first Christmas, we thought it would be fun and memorable for Lawton to Build a Bear for Carolina as his gift to her (but don't tell Carolina just yet :) ) We had so much fun and Lawton loved it!
Here he is pushing the pedal to stuff the bear . . .
Making a wish for the bear ( I wonder what he wished for. . . if he understands what a wish is!)
Here he is putting the heart inside the bear.
Giving the bear a bath . . .
The finished product! He picked out the outfit all by himself and insisted that the bear have shoes, too. We tried to forget the shoes, but he insisted! So . . . I steered him to these cute red sparkly shoes that matched the Snow White dress. He enjoyed it so much that when we got in the car he meekly/sadly said, "I want a bear like Carolina."
Awww. Maybe Carolina might have to get him a gift certificate now so he can build one for himself. :)
