The temptation was too great

We had an unusually quiet, relaxing Christmas Eve at home this year. We were able to finally get around to making our gingerbread house that Lawton insisted on doing again this year. :) Sister (rat's nest and all) gazed adoringly at the big bowl of leftover Halloween candy to see if there was anything she could get her sticky little petite hands on.
Then later, even though Lawton had made cookies with the cousins at Gran-D's a few days before, there somehow wasn't any left for Santa on Christmas Eve. . . hmmm. So, what else but to make some more cookies! :) Someone had given Chad a m&m jarred cookie mix so we conveniently decided to make those for Santa this year. (And don't be deceived. . . Sister is not placing that cookie dough ball there. . . she is trying to swipe it. Caughtcha red handed!!)
Not sure what Lawton is doing here . . . but I liked their Christmas t-shirts. :)
And what do ya know??? Buzz (our elf) brought MATCHING pajamas for us on Christmas Eve morning for us to wear that night. I'm telling ya' - we had one SMART, nice elf!! (and on a side note . . . what do you think about Chad's one week growth here? I kinda liked it but he shaved it off the next morning. . .)
The kiddos were setting out the cookies for Santa . . . but don't be deceived yet again. After already getting to taste test a cookie, Sis didn't understand why she couldn't grab another one that was so conveniently placed out on a plate for her. ;) Notice Lawton's disgruntled look towards her. ha!
And there she goes again, trying to drink Santa's milk, too! It just made us laugh!!
One last note to Santa to make sure he was in good graces . . .
