The perfect curl

It had to happen eventually . . . Carolina's first haircut. I knew it had been coming for a while, but just kept on putting it off. Sniff, my baby is growing up! (Never mind I could count on two hands how many haircuts Lawton had had by her age!)
Here is a before of her rat's nest. Thankfully she willingly sits there and lets me spray her hair and comb out the tangles every day. What can I say? I've trained the girl to be groomed and pampered. :)
She had quite the mullet going on, eh?

Here is the after. . . I have very sharp scissors and was only able to make about two cuts before she caught on to what I was doing. The two cuts were sufficient though. :)

I was able to get the perfect curl for her baby book. I might have just said goodbye to any other curls she will ever get for a long, long time if she is like her momma!! :)
