It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas . . . GIVEAWAY!

I gasped in the grocery store yesterday . . . and Lawton eagerly wondered what I was so excited about. Peppermint Mocha creamer is in the stores now!! :) (Isn't that something to be excited about?)

And lo and behold, as I walked into Target tonight (November 1), the Halloween decorations were down and Christmas decorations were up! They don't waste any time!

So, to celebrate the upcoming season, (and because I can't do any other picture-posting-blogging since my oh-so-sweet-and-innocent-seventeen-month-old tossed the computer off the couch last weekend) I decided to do a give away one of my Usborne Christmas books!!

Here's the deal - just leave me a comment of which book you think you would like - and what signals the beginning of the Christmas season for you. :)

I will let the winner choose one of these books . . . I decided to give you a range of books so that it will "fit" the age and needs of your child. If you don't have a child, then surely you have some child in your life that would love one of these as a Christmas present (FREE to you!) so go on a leave me a comment! :)

That's Not My Reindeer, for the youngest child, is oh-so-cute with it's bright pictures and patches of different textures to develop sensory and language awareness.
1001 Things to Spot at Christmas - a wonderful puzzle book stuffed full of Christmas things to Spot. Think Where's Waldo? . . . but SOO much better! A great church book/quiet book/car book/Mommy-needs-some-quiet-time-to-think book. :)

Christmas Sticker Storybook, a storybook, sticker book, and puzzle all in one! And what I really love? My favorite Farmyard Tale Characters are in it - Poppy, Sam, Mrs. Boot, and all the animals! :)
50 Christmas Things to Make and Do - for the crafty child - or not- who needs a little inspiration and ideas - love it!
If you aren't the winner, you can always shop at my website HERE.
If you are local and want to get earn some FREE books by hosting a show (and to help ol' Santa out) I have some openings still in November and December that will help all your friends and family do some easy Christmas shopping . . . as well as Santa. :) You can email me at chadandlaurabeth@yahoo.com
This giveaway will close on Wednesday night - hopefully by then our computer will be fixed and I can post some pictures (of the 4000 it seems like I have taken) of all the fall fun we have had lately.
Leave a comment - Good Luck!

1001 Things to Spot at Christmas looks like a fab book!

For me, Christmas begins the day after Thanksgiving. That's when we put up the tree!

Thanks for hosting this giveaway!

My son love Usborne's Great Animal Search, so I am sure he would love 1001 Things to Spot at Christmas.

For me, Christmas season starts right after Thsnksgiving, but for him, it apparently starts when it snows, because he has already started asking about the advent calendar.

50 Christmas things...yeah, cuz I need more things to do this time of year! ;) Found your Momtessori blog through a friend and an loving your great ideas!

Christmas songs start playing on two different stations here in Utah on Nov. 1st. A little early for me, but the bigger my family gets the sooner I need to start getting ready!

As I sit here sipping my Peppermint Mocha coffee, I am thinking I would like the 1001 Things to Spot book because both of my kids would enjoy that book.

I love this time of the year but the early Christmas decorations in the stores kind of annoy me. So the Christmas season starts when we start planning to get together with family and enjoying each other's company.

I love your sites!! Pick me! I have a 3 month old that is in need of some christmas books. I really liked the Reindeer book. Christmas season begins for me after Halloween. I love it when all the shops have all the decorations up and are playing christmas music. I love to shop for all my friends and family to find the perfect gift. I am really excited about my babies first christmas!!

probably the day after Halloween when we crank up our Christmas playlist- dolly and kenny, mariah, bing crosby, amy grant, baby, it's cold outside, are a few of my favorites. So I guess music signals my Christmas!

I would love the last book-50 things to do at Christmas. I love Christmas and the first thing that reminds me of the season is deciding what to do for our annual Christmas card. Oh, the joys of the Christmas card. ha!
So sorry about the computer. Walker threw mine off the kitchen counter when he was about 14 months old. It never recovered unfortunately. The screen was completely shattered.

1001 Things to Spot, please, pretty please :)
I just can't get into Christmas until the day after Thanksgiving. I just feel like it cheats T'giving if I'm thinking about C'mas before it.!

All of the books sound neat. I'll decide on one if I'm the one chosen.

As far as Christmas goes, all of the stores start putting their decorations up and the toy catalogs come out. I think those things are a big part of it for me starting to think Christmas.

50 things to do.

What starts Christmas for me is the panic of all the shopping for all the kids(4), I have to start early, cause if I waited on Mike to shop with me, we would be out Christmas Eve trying to do our Santa shopping!!
I am a little stressed this year, normally I put my tree up before Thanksgiving(Fall break), but since we only get 3 days, I might start a little earlier!!

i love all the books you recommend! i'd pick between that's not my reindeer and the 1001. both look so fun!

Hi Laura Beth, I love all the books I ordered through Rebekah's party. Can't wait to give them to my boys for Christmas! I would love the 1001 things to spot. The Christmas season begins (for me) when I start to see houses decorated with lights.

1001 Things to Spot....my boys are really getting in to these books...we love the pirate one!

Christmas really starts for us once "Pip", our elf from the North Pole, comes to our house shortly after Thanksgiving. He keeps a close eye on the boys until Christmas and reports back to Santa each night. The most exciting part is looking for Pip each morning and wondering where he will hide next!!

Christmas starts for me today! I walked into Target and saw all their Christmas displays out! So exciting!!!

I think the 1001 spot book sounds like fun...looks like I am not the only one who collects Christmas books. :)
