Because we like to make fun of ourselves . . .

On Saturday morning, Chad kept the kids while I had a show. I rushed home and changed and headed right back out the door because we had a wedding to attend that afternoon. As we were headed to Chad's parent's to drop off the kids, I turned around and noticed them. And then I started giggling. And then I started laughing so hard my eyes were tearing up.

Look:

Chad: "What's so funny?"

Me: "Umm. . . you put on her fanciest dress knit socks that match her fancy bloomers that she wore when she was a newborn!"

Chad: "I've told you over and over that the scariest part about me keeping the kids is opening her closet and trying to figure out what she can wear!" (with a smile on his face)

(never mind I had laid out her jogging suit and her shoes . . . I didn't think the sock task was that difficult!)

Me: "Didn't you think the socks were a little small??"

Chad: (sheepishly and laughing too, now) "Yeah. They were hard to get on! :)"

And the funniest thing about this whole scenario?? He's done this before (scroll down a bit) with Lawton. I love him. Bless him.
