Countdown to E-day

Alright, I'm way behind. Even though Easter was only three days ago, A LOT has happened around here since last Saturday. Because I'm crazy and have to post things in order and don't want to leave anything out, I am posting chronologically - so tune in in the next few days! I'm tired now so this one post is all for tonight!

Baking with Gran-D
Lawton got some special one-on-one time with Gran-D the week before Easter and made some Easter cookies. He loved the special attention!
Cutting the cookies out . . .
What a master baker!
and then a little fancy decorating!

We made Easter Story Cookies at home. Click HERE if you didn't get to see it!

School Easter Egg Hunt and Party

He was so excited that I was there. (I wouldn't miss it for the world!) There was an empty seat beside him so he insisted that I sit beside him. I did, of course! :)
The Easter Egg Hunt on the playground
Sister was wonderful! (as usual - I realize how lucky I am!) She just kicked back (literally) and watched the entire party and the hunt. I almost forgot she was there (not really, okay?) She had no toys, no food, just entertainment from crazy three and four year olds. Thinking about that, what else does she really need? :)
The attempt at a class shot - minus Brown and Kate :( The funny thing is - I remember having MY picture made on this rock when I was in pre-school there. It's funny how things come full circle!

Dyeing Easter Eggs
He felt the need to smell the dye because of the vinegar. He knows the smell and taste well due to a sassy mouth from time to time!
